Momberger Airport Information was established by two people, Manfred Momberger and Karin Momberger, a couple married since 1967. They have been associated with civil aviation since 1966. Both worked for Dornier, the German aircraft manufacturer, and Interavia, the international aviation publishers then based in Geneva/Switzerland, before setting up their own business in 1973. Both have a diploma degree in Foreign Studies from Mainz University in Germany.
Martin Lamprecht joined Momberger as North American Editor and Webmaster in 2002. He has a Master's degree with specialization in commercial air transportation from the University of Regina in Canada and over 20 years of experience in the industry, including background in airline management and airport consultancy.

Their main product is the pink newsletter, called 'Momberger Airport Information' since 1992. The previous title was 'airport forum news'. They also provide marketing support to their subscribers.
